CLO 1

“Acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop rhetorical sensibility”

It is important to write according to the audience so that my document is fully understood. When I’m writing a lab report, whoever reads my report will be one with knowledge in the field, so I can write briefly with specific terms. However, when I’m writing for a larger audience, I have to simplify my words so that everyone will fully understand.

For example, our group’s presentation for the engineering proposal, was for a larger audience, so the content presented, and the way we wrote each point had to be simplified than our actual proposal paper.
