Engineering Proposal

An engineering proposal is a document that offers to conduct research/experiment or provide a product/service. Engineers have to write proposals for their research or project to be approved. The goal is to persuade the reader and provide or approved what is needed. Engineers often write a proposal for a solution to a problem.

In an engineering proposal, there is an introduction to the problem, proposed approach (or technical approach) which includes plans and/or solutions, expected project results (may include risks of the project), project schedule and budget, qualification, and conclusion.

Our group (that is Group 3) wrote an engineering proposal for a project installing turbines on the shore or in California in case of a power outage due to wildfire and heatwave which occurs often in California. Then, we created a presentation and a website.
