Media is “how the information is conveyed,” according to the class presentation. There are three types of media that we worked on throughout the course: digital (such as a short video), proper paper document, and oral. It is how the audience receives the information.

At first, I confused media with the genre, thinking they were the same thing. However, the media is centered on the audience, and how they see the information, while the genre is how the writer presents their information. For example, our group’s public service announcement was done in a 45-second video which was made as a slideshow.
