A technical description, as it tells from its name, describes an item. It describes the item’s parts, how it works, and how to use it. It is an introduction, or a guideline for readers to help them use the item correctly and efficiently, also telling them why they should use it. It should also include images to help them understand, for example, images of the parts.

A technical description should have an introduction and background about the item, parts/characteristics of the item, how they work, and a conclusion.

I wrote a technical description about my Monteverde 9 in 1 tool pen which I’ve been using since high school. Writing this document, I had to write several drafts, and even after I wrote the final, I still had revisions to make.
